2018 Atlas heated steering wheel. My heated steering wheel is not working curious on a fuse location as VW doesn’t supply a fuse box diagram 🙃. Had this happen on my 2018. Ended up replacing the steering wheel under warranty. If you're under 72,000 miles, you still have full bumper to bumper warranty. Is everything else working? I bet

That is for another day. Decided 2nd best was a 2024 50e. Off to the configurator and being in frozen MN I wanted heated steering. For some unknown stupid reason, BMW appears to only allow you to get the heated wheel and armrest if you buy the climate package that includes ventilated seats.
Are you grabbing at the top, or in the 4:00/8:00 positions? Not every heated steering wheel is heated the entire circumference. I think Ford only heats the bottom half to encourage you to keep your hands low -- it's safer to be at 8-and-4 instead of the old 10-and-2.

I tried coding out package 248 (heated steering wheel) in esys, but the fault code still remains after clearing faults. What I tried: Read FA, remove SALAPA element 248, save as new FA. Answer- with gloves! Which means you don’t need the heated steering wheel. Gloves are awesome. They keep your entire hand warm and they’re a fashion accessory. You’ll need them when you exit the vehicle, anyway. In summary, heated steering wheels are pointless and tremendously overrated. Archived post.
