Hi my car got a replacement ecu from blacksmoke.co.uk a little over a year ago and it's mapped and just today started it up and it cut out as soon as I dip the clutch then it wouldn't start again till a few try's of the key. Drove a few mile and turned off engine and same again with Drive axle. Vehicles with 12-point nut. Tighten 12-point nut to 200 Nm and loosen 1/2 turn . Turn wheel hub 180° . Tighten again with: 50 Nm plus an additional 60°turn. Vehicles with hex. bolt. Tighten hex bolt to 250 Nm plus an additional 1/4turn 90°and then loosen 1/2 turn. Turn wheel hub 180° . I'm experiencing loss of electrical power to my Mk5 Golf. It seems to happen mostly when the car hasn't been run for two or three days. We changed the battery a few months ago. More recently, there was a loss of power and the car wouldn't start. We'd diagnosed it as the alternator, which was replaced.
