The Ceed 2.0 CRDi was certified under Euro 4 which became law on 01.01.2006. To comply the 2.0 CRDi required a DPF (just like the Sportage with the same engine). There is no way some Ceeds could have not been fitted with a DPF and been legal. The 148 g/km has nothing to do with a DPF.
