AppleWatch SE 2 here I solved the issue - sensors work, doesn’t lock itself, tattoos don’t matter, can wear loosely no problem, charges normally AND when taken off it will lock itself! Instead of epoxy bottle cap sticker I used couple layers of clear adhesive tape (pic rel). One layer doesn’t do the trick but like 10-20 layers do.
